0.2 Update Dev Notes 2/13/2024
I'm new to this Dev Log thing, but I thought it would be a good time to post about some of the changes coming in Update 0.2! I will not post ALL of the changes in this Dev Log, but I will announce a few here. These changes are as follows:
- Fixed the repeat dialogue between the Apprentice and the Wizard at the start of the game.
- All chests now respawn.
- Fixed unnecessary blurriness and focus issues.
- Tweaked the player menu to remove a few unnecessary options.
- Tweaked progression. Players now find the Stone to unlock the next maze in the previous maze. Ex. Red Maze Stone in the Yellow Maze, Blue Maze Stone in the Red Maze, etc etc. (Say maze one more time...)
There will also be some visual changes as well as minute changes to certain aspects that I will let the players see for themselves. I will mainly use Dev Logs to talk about the more noticeable (and honestly, more exciting) changes to the game. Update 0.2 is going to mainly focus on improving what is already here before I begin working on the first big content update. I go on vacation this Friday, and plan to release the update before then so I don't constantly think about it when I should be focusing on relaxing. (And sleeping in! :D) So with that in mind, Update 0.2 is right around the corner. Thank you all for being you and I cannot wait to get this new update into your hands!
